Position               : Testing (Banking)

Location               : Mc Lean, VA

Duration              : 3-6 Months

Experience         : 3-5 Years

 

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

 

·         4-6 years of overall experience.

·         Atleast 2+ yrs experience on Analyzing Business Requirements for creating and reviewing

·         Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases

·         Atleast 1+ yr experience in execution of various testing like Functional, regression

·         Agile experience QTP, SQL, ALM, Ruby, Cucumber experience

·         Exposure to Banking domain is required

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Should be able to work with the Client team at Onsite and coordinate with several stakeholders

·         Knowledge on Automation scripts is an added advantage

Ruby

·         Should be aware of the following concepts.

·         Fundamental concepts (Syntax, Classes, Variables, Operators, Comments, Use of IF...ELSE and Loops, ellipses used in loops, Methods, Blocks, Modules)

·         Strings, Arrays, Hashes

·         Date & Time, Ranges, Iterators

·         File I/O

·         Exceptions.

 

QTP

·         Able to automate with coding and embedding logic to achieve validations using VB programming.

·         Should be able to add synchronization points where the different actions are synchronized.

·         Should be able to recognize the dynamic object property changes and using descriptive programming effectively.

·         Should be able to perform code debugging and unit testing.

·         Should be able to design data table and parameterization for multiple set of data input.

·         Should be able to configure tool with databases like oracle and MS SQL server.

 

Test Automation

·         Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools.

·         Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client.

·         Should be capable to create the required automation framework to the client.

 

Application Testing

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing

·         Should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.

 

Web Testing

·         Should have a test to break attitude and should be able to design positive & negative test scenarios based on the validation on controls, cookies etc

 

Application Lifecycle Management – ALM

Silverlake – Functional

Cucumber
