Position: SELENIUM TESTER WITH JAVA

Location: CUPERTINO, CA

Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)

Experience: 5-8 YEARS

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Selenium, REST, JASON, Web Services, Java-J2EE Web services Automation using Groovy Script & SOAP UI Pro.

·         Web Services Testing, API Testing, Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP) Testing, XML, WSDL, REST, JSON Web services test automation development , x Code, Object C, iOS framework.

·         Continuous Integration Setup and Maintenance.

·         Able to partner with senior management on the client side and engage them from test automation / design / development / architectural perspective.

·         Evaluation of requirements and review test objectives and to design manual automated test approach.

·         Designing Test Framework, methodologies, strategies, approaches and processes.

·         Knowledge of requirement gathering, planning, and creating test plan

·         Good knowledge of creating and executing test cases, documenting test results & logging defects

·         Ability to handle multi tasks.

·         Automation and performance skills are an added advantage.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Test Automation:

·         Should be capable to understand the underlying technology on the various automation tools.

·         Should be capable to evaluate the best tool to the client.

·         Should be capable to create the required automationframework to the client.

Web Testing:

·         Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc.

·         Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage

Application Testing:

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing and should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.
