Job requirements :
Educational Requirements:
4 Year degree from accredited college.
SAS Base Programming certification or SAS Advanced Programming certification a plus
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
In depth Base SAS programming skills for the mainframe with the ability to write efficient maintainable code.
Proficient knowledge of JCL, Sync Sort and SQL
SAS data and file manipulation techniques required
Working knowledge of DB2 Relational Databases
Strong quality control methods and analytical ability to assess accuracy of reporting output including researching details of summarized reports
Ability to document programs in a logical manner
Possess the ability to identify and document detailed requirements and solutions as well as follow defined processes
Must handle multiple tasks with competing priorities
Ability to prioritize work assignments and meet deadline
Must be a team player; excellent communication and negotiation skills and must maintain accountability for delivery of product to the customer and team.
Build good working relationship with others and all levels of management
Demonstrate ownership and personal responsibility for work assignments
