Position: SAS Developer
Location: Berkeley Heights NJ
Duration: 6+ months
Mandatory Technical /Functional Skills:
• IT experience with sole focus on SAS programming and development.
• Expertise in multiple SAS tools - EG, batch, Stored processes, AMO, SPDS, etc. Linux/Unix shell scripting knowledge.
• Needs great level of communication and diplomacy to interface with all levels of Business and IT key stakeholders.
• Development and implementation of programs and processes to do the following
1) To improve monitoring and reporting on the performance of the grid
2) Develop Data load modules to load large volumes of data from disparate sources to SAS
• SPDS performance reporting from SPDS logs
• Maintenance of the SAS Grid environment
• Grid performance monitoring and reporting
• Experience working with large volume of data
• Experience with performance tuning in SAS or related area
• Expertise in multiple SAS tools - EG, batch, Stored processes, AMO, SPDS, etc.
• Appreciation of ETL challenges for large amounts of data
Desirable Technical /Functional Skills:
• Understand customer's business requirements and technical environment to architect the optimal solution
• At least 5+ years of SAS Grid experience
• Must have demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of the SAS suite of products, strong analysis skills, experience in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and modifying Adobe based business applications.
