Job title: Mainframe Administration
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6-12 Months
For H1b & EAD Copy is mandatory
Technical/Functional Skills -MUST HAVE SKILLS
1.Hands-on system programming experience with subsystems such as: CICS, DB2, Tivoli Enterprise Portal/OmegaMon, TCP/IP, VPS, VTAM, and RACF.
2.Excellent working knowledge of mainframe infrastructure technologies
3.Experience with major OS and Software migration and conversion
4.Experience in capacity planning and MIPS optimization
5.Familiarity with Linux or other distributed environments(z/VM)
6.Familiarity with, and participation in, Disaster Recovery processes and procedures.
7.Strong analytical, project management, and technical problem-solving skills
Daily responsibilities include:
8.Issue tracking, problem determination, status updates, system monitoring, and directing our external resources.
9.Work closely with mainframe outsourcing provider to stay abreast and engaged in all mainframe-related change control requests and projects as directed by Tech Support manager.
10.Work closely with the Tech Support manager and applications teams, Project Leaders/Supervisors, network administrators, data base administrators and Service Desk personnel to resolve problems and assist them in the success of their work effort.
11.Assist as-needed in the definition, development, and documentation of software deliverables and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
12.Develop project plans for system software implementations, which include, but are not limited to: defining scope, scheduling, and implementation of major subsystems.
13.Work with implementation of new processes and procedures as required
Roles & Responsibilities

5.Regular client communication
6.Develop, implement and analyze reports for clients
7.Conduct regular service reviews on a monthly/quarterly basis
8.Provide weekly reports to the Client Service Manager
9.Participate in regular Service Management Team meetings
10.Ensure all current clients' SLAs are kept up-to-date
11.Develop and manage client service improvement plans
12.Ability to formally present information to clients at Director level
13.Take ownership of, and resolve accordingly, any problems/issued escalated by clients
14.Manage customers' expectations
15.Co-ordinate incidents across the operational team to resolve problems/issues with clients
16.Carry out analysis of performance issues with clients
17.Develop and maintain a good working relationship across the organization
18.Work closely with Account Managers in retaining clients new business
