Job Description:
• Candidates should have good Admin/Configuration/Development knowledge of:-
• Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Knowledge Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Requests and SLM
• Content Management: - developing ESS page
• UI Actions/ UI policy/ Access Control Lists, etc.
• Writing various Server side scripts using Script Includes.
• Configured License Management module for necessary Compliance check.
• Used ACLs for controlling the security mechanism in Service Now
• Domain Separation and designing the Process and data flow within various domains
• Developing Composite Service Requests within Service catalog Module
• Experience in different integrations using web-services/MID Server, etc.
• Configuring complex reports
• Understanding and debugging of system logs
• Experience with Service Now development/ configuration is a must (Java certification is good to have)
• Maintenance, administration and version standardization of Service Now
• Configuration of functionalities according to the best process & practices
• Integration with other ITSM tools & 3rd party tools
• For experienced roles, project management & team management is required
• The Senior Admin will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the Service-Now technical support team.
• Develops new and improved service offerings to all applicable areas of the business, from individual incident or service catalog items to full applications as appropriate based on previously established request and / or functional specs.
• The ideal candidate should have a fundamental understanding of IT service management and the ITIL business processes; experience working closely with SMEs, project managers, and process owners to capture business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and develop service now functionality.
• Use project management Flextronics AIM principles to ensure timely system development for projects as applicable.
• Work with other areas of IT globally to detect improvement opportunities and enhance the customer experience for Service-Now.
