This is our direct-client opening for a contract Business Analyst located in Concord, NH.
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced systems/business analyst to join our criminal justice oriented Case Management Systems (CMS) applications development team. The CMS environment is largely Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) systems supported by our industry-leading COTS vendors and our internal business/systems analysts. Internal interfaces and external interfaces with other criminal justice information systems are crucial to our data integration and sharing efforts. We seek a candidate who also has business/systems analyst skills to establish user needs and translation to functional and technical system designs. Some coding skills and relational database concepts knowledge are desired.
Required:
Strong business analyst experience developing business requirements for end-users.
Strong ability to translate business requirements to functional and technical system designs.
Strong experience documenting business process flow.
Strength in use of flowcharting or other graphical depiction software.
Ability to lead multiple users (from different operating units) in Business Process Redesign (BPR) Design sessions using LEAN or equivalent BPR process.
Experience with all industry standard software testing levels and best practices.
Experience with or knowledge of relational databases.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio. Project, Sharepoint, and Team Foundation.
Ability to work in a structured IT environment
Ability to work in environment where software development lifecycle methodology is used.
Ability to adhere to project plans with time constrained deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to travel throughout the state during the regular course of business.
Possibility of some after-hours work.
Computer program coding skills, ideally in SSRS, SQL, XML (including, ECF) and stored procedures.
Some project management skills.
Relational database concepts knowledge.
