Position : SOA Testing
Location : Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 6-12 Months
Experience : 5-8 Years
Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:
· 8+ Years of overall experience
· Ability to plan / strategize different tests like Functional, Load, security Tests etc with one or more tools like, SOAP UI, SOAP UI Pro, CA (Itko) Lisa, HP ST, Parasoft
· Ability to Automate the Scripts in JMeter for Service Load Testing
· Ability to set up Automated regression test with CI tools like Jenkins
· Must have at least 2 years of experience in SOA functional Testing & SOA non-functional testing.
· Should have hands-on experience testing REST & SOAP Web services
· Ability to understand the various Service/SOA Testing types related to Functional or Non-Functional activities or both
· Should be able to prepare the Individual test strategy for the Functional or Non-Functional Service testing activities and prepare High-level test scenarios
· Ability to prepare and analyze the test coverage reports using SOA Test Tools & JMeter
· Must have experience working in Unix Systems.
SOAP UI Testing
SOA Testing
· Ability to understand the various SOA Testing types relate to Functional or Non-Functional activities or both.
· Should be able to prepare the 'Individual test strategy for the related 'Functional or Non-Functional SOA testing activities'.
· Able to prepare 'High level test scenarios'.
· Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
· Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
· Works on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts & principles.
· Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning & execution responsibilities.
· Minimum 2 year experience in SOA & web services project.
Web Testing
· Should have good knowledge & concepts of UI validations, GUI features etc.
· Concepts of Globalisation and Localization testing will be an added advantage.
Application Testing
· Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing
· Should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.
· Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Orthogonal Array Tool.
· Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.
Load Testing
Web Services
· Should have clear understanding of what is Web Service, SOAP Protocol WSDLUDDI Styles of Web Services Compare Web Services with EJBs or other Service Implementations.
Security
· Basic understanding of Security equipment's like PIX/ASA.
· Initial level of Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Cisco PIX/ASA.
· Knowledge of basic commands like ping, trace route etc Ability to configure basic configuration like IP addresses, Port opening/closing
· Basic understanding of security technologies like ACL, VPN Client
