Position               : SAP BI/BW

Location               : Saint Louis, MO

Duration              : 6-12 Months

Experience         : 5-8 Years

 

Job Requirement & Technical Skills Required:

·         Perform as SAP BW developer across business functional areas.

·         Meet with SAP Functional Analysts and business users to discuss user requirements, develop and document technical specifications, technical approach and time frame.

·         Design, build, and implement technical solutions including SAP BW queries, reports, DSO's, multi-providers, APD's and process chains.

·         5+ years working in SAP BW 7.3 (BW on HANA experience preferred) and data warehouse development.

·         Experience in data architecture and modeling skills.

·         In depth knowledge of SAP BW tools such as BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, Process Chains and Web Application Designer required.

·         Experience with data extraction from multiple sources, transformation, loading, data life cycle management, reporting, advanced analytics, dash boarding and planning.

·         Strong ABAP programming skills.

·         Experience with SAP Business Objects 4.0/4.1 (Web Intelligence, Explorer, and Dashboard/Xcelsius).

·         Strong functional knowledge in Financial reporting (Management and Statutory), Commercial and Supply Chain processes.

·         Ability to work in a team environment.

·         Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive the issues to completion and deliver against milestones.

·         Strong communications skills with the ability to interact with various levels in a global organization.

·         Experience with SAP Business Objects is a strong plus.

·         Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services, SQL Server, MS Reporting Services, SSIS, DTS and ProClarity a strong plus.

·         Experience with SAP Spend Performance Management and SAP HANA a plus.

·         Project Management experience is a plus.

SAP BI-BW DWH-Business Intelligence

 

Business Intelligence

·         Should be able to develop technological solution of any complexity independently for the intended delivery competency to meet business requirements of a department

·         Should be able to make effective use of available best practices and standards

·         Experience Range : 1-3 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.

 

OLAP

 

Unix Shell Scripting

·         Shell Basics & Sub shells

·         Shell types: Bourne, Korn, C, bash -Korn Shell Environment - Startup Scripts (.profile, .kshrc)

·         Using ENV for automatic environment tailoring (PATH etc.)

·         Commands & Options - Manipulating Input and Output Redirection (Pipes) - Aliases (alias, unalias)

·         How the Shell Finds Commands - Command History and Editing[Variables]

·         Assigning Values to Variables (set, unset and Special Variables)

·         Built-in Variables Known to Login Shell - The Shell Environment and predefined variables

·         Exporting Variables [Input/Output]

·         Working with files and file attributes

·         Working with Directories - Basic I/O Features – String and Field Processing - Streams and pipes (exec)

·         Terminal Information(COLUMNS, LINES, TERM)

 

SAP HANA

 

Data Management

·         Should have strong understanding of the sub domain and relevant products, technology in that domain ( Experience in any two is desirable) - Client Data - Instrument Data - Data Warehousing -Settlement Data - Market Data Relevant Products in the above sub domain's

 

SAP ABAP

·         Understands requirements from functional specifications and able to implement the solution based on technical specification.

·         Good knowledge about quality process and have used in projects.

·         Must have knowledge of basic ABAP programming language and able to do developments in basic ABAP areas like Reports, BDCs, SAP-Scripts/ smart forms , module pool programming and is aware about the enhancement techniques to be used in ABAP.

·         Should have atleast 0 - 2year of SAP -ABAP experience and 1 implementation of SAP Project(Laterals) or has exposure to atleast one support project(Laterals) experience in SAP
