Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Primary Skills: Oracle PL/SQL, Performance Tuning
Responsibilities:
Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in SQL tuning. (60: 40-20)
Experience in database administration is desired, but can be scaled up. (20:10-10)
Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle data dictionary (Implicitly covered in point 1).
Experience on SQL loader and data pump (Good to have, but can be scaled up). (5: 0-5)
Familiarity with AWR analysis.(5: 2-5)
Hands-on experience on PL/SQL programming. (Good to have, but can be scaled up) (5: 1-2)
Unix Shell scripting. (5: 2-5)
Ability to work with multiple teams in a fast paced environment.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a group setting. Consistent and proper communication to management and team is a crucial factor that contributes to the success of the team
Good organizational skills
