Java Developer
Length: 5 months – through March 1st to start (could be potential to extend)

2 Developer openings (1 FE, 1 BE) they are working on a workflow project to evaluate two BPM software tools: JBPM and Bonita. Looking for candidates who have experience with JBoss, JSF, REST, SOAP, HTML 5, JQuery and have worked in an Agile environment. Needs two resources to be able to handle things from HTML side to web services side.
· Develop carrier-class applications to enable the exchange of diagnostic medical images and other clinical trial data.
· Implement and enhance a J2EE based networked application to enable the exchange of diagnostic medical images and other clinical trial data.
· Employ state-of-the-art engineering practices including Agile/Scrum and test-driven development.
· Diagnose, repair, and maintain production systems as needed to ensure business continuity.
Must haves (ideally top 3 things):
· 5 years of Java development experience
· 1-2 years current J2EE experience
· Strong design skills, object-oriented programming, and experience writing software design specifications
· Experience in JPA or Hibernate required
· Familiarity with a workflow engine such as Bonita or jBPM is a plus
· Experience with JSF, Swing, JBoss, Postgres, MongoDB, REST, SOAP and medical image data are a plus
