We are in need of a Juniper Security engineer.  Someone with SRX experience.

 

Required

1.            They must be a firewall/security engineer.

2.            Must have experience designing, installing, configuring and troubleshooting Juniper SRX firewalls.

3.            Must have experience installing site to site VPN.

 

Optional

1.                Nice to have is experience migrating from Cisco PIX or ASA firewalls to Juniper.

Required Skills:

·         Over seven years' experience as a Juniper security engineer with experience migrating from Cisco ASA and PIX firewalls to Juniper SRX firewalls.

·         Expert knowledge of Juniper and Cisco routers and firewalls, especially the Juniper MX, EX, and SRX platforms.

·         Juniper/Cisco certifications of JNCIE/CCIE highly desired and equivalent experience also desired

·         Working knowledge of Juniper based tools such as STRM and Space desired

·         Well-versed in network security and design principles; demonstrated ability to secure network services and knowledge of secure modular network design and risk assessment

·         Advanced Knowledge of TCP/IP (IPV4 / IPV6), Ethernet technologies, IP routing and routing protocols, multicast, Unix/Linux systems, capacity management and carrier network architectures

·         Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects as well as lead small, directed projects

Strong documentary, technical writing and communication skills as a department representative

·         Ability to train and support NOC and junior network engineering staff

 

Communication/Soft Skills:

·         Excellent verbal (English) and written communication skills. Ability to clearly present to management

·         Strong writing skills

·         Organized and articulate

·         Strong team worker

·         Capable of working with business groups and clients on requirements and scheduling

·         Independent, self-starter, needs little or no supervision
