Job Description:
The Java/SQL Developer role will be responsible for changes to trade loss functionality. Responsibilities include participation in all aspects of software development including requirements analysis, effort estimation, technical investigation, software design and implementation, unit testing, and bug fixing. Writing test cases and involvement in system and integrated testing is also required. Applicant should be capable of performing effectively in a team as well as with individual assignments to be completed unsupervised. Also, should communicate effectively with team members and management and be capable of creating technical documentation.
Must Skills:
Object Oriented Programming in Java, C : 2+ years.
• Strong knowledge of SQL desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering usable, reliable, scalable, database driven web applications
• Experience of Java web application development deployed on Nexaweb, Weblogic
• Experience of web applications a plus
Position 2 : Java Developer Analyst
Duration: 2+ months
Location: Somers, NY
Experience: 5 to 7 years
Job Description:
Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex Enterprise Applications Performs expert-level engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of Server Application, API, Web Services, etc. Solid background/understanding in OO analysis, MVC architecture and design patterns. Solid experience with relational databases (Sybase and Oracle preferably) Will test for new releases and work with the project lead to ensure compliance to all enterprise wide initiatives. Will provide support for applications under the warehouse systems team based on a rotating schedule.
