Location (s): Mason, OH / Virginia Beach, VA / Indianapolis, IN / Thousand Oaks, CA 

(Location can be position as per candidates availability, although candidates ready to relocate anywhere would be preferred)

Duration: Long Term

Experience Level: 10 years +

 

•Onsite/Offshore experience is a key to get the position

•Interview Procedure: Technical Round with CTS + Final Interview with End Customer.

The TA role within WLP is an elevated Test Program Manager role with some of the key activities called out:

 

•Define the project test strategy and deliver the same

•This role serves as a RQM project's administrator, test resource planning, test management and quality & test advocacy

•Implement and Adoption of Rational tools in the testing program (ReqPro – Capturing / Maintaining requirements, RQM – Test Management and CQ - Defect management)

•Ensure all Test Levels and Cycles are assessed, planned and executed in accordance to the SDLC Test Standards

•Coordinate the efforts of multiple Test Leads

• Negotiate the ongoing purpose and deliverables of the test effort

• Work with the leads from other SDLC areas to assure sign offs' and coordination of test execution activities

• Manage, and escalate Testing risks and issues as applicable, acting as an escalation point for Testing risks and issues

•Ensure the appropriate planning and management of the test resources

•Assess the progress and effectiveness of the test effort

•Ensure Testing resources receive adequate walkthroughs / reviews of requirements and design

• Coordinating and providing guidance on testing activities across multiple platforms / systems / releases when necessary for testing effort

• Advocating the appropriate level of quality by getting the resolution of critical defects

• Publish / Report the consolidated Test status to the program

•HC experience good to have, else should come up with the strategy building & delivering background experience and pick on the domain quickly.
