Position: Mobile Tester

Salt lake City , UT 

Rate : 40/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our client is seeking a Mobile Tester in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role will be responsible for testing efforts (creating test plans, test cases) and increasing testing efficiencies through developing automated test scripts or programs. The Mobile Tester will be focused on Mobile Test projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

·         2+ years experience testing Mobile Applications

·         Experience testing web and/ or client server applications, mainframe applications and a working knowledge of bug tracking

·         Experience using test automation tools and practices

·         Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field.

·         Candidates with appropriate experience but without a Bachelors degree may be considered

·         4+ years experience creating test automation scripts/programs to test GUI applications, middleware, and data validation

·         Experience creating test plans, creating and executing test cases, turning identified automation opportunities into reality

·         Excellent problem solving and communication skills

·         Demonstrated ability to take ownership of completing projects and tasks

·         Demonstrated ability to learn new environments and applications quickly

·         Demonstrated creativity and problem solving skills

·         Demonstrated ability to be successful in a cross functional team based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience using test automation tools and practices

·         Experience with relational database management system, preferably Oracle

·         Experience in a financial institution
