Position: Release Coordinator
Location: Cupertino/Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 months
This role is for a self-motivated release management professional who has several years experience of helping to coordinate and plan release activities, working closely with engineers and project managers.
The primary responsibility will be for developing and managing the release schedule for major releases across the year, working under the direction of the Special Projects Manager who has full visibility of major events and product announcements.
There are multiple teams impacted by the release schedule, and complex dependencies between products, projects and teams that need to be carefully analyzed, communicated, documented and managed.
The Release Coordinator must be familiar with release terminology, scheduling and documentation, and must be have enough technical knowledge to work credibly with the Release Engineers who handle the actual execution of release deployments.
