DB2 UDB Data Warehouse Support Manager

Position Description: 

Provides daily support of the activities associated with the operations of the DB2 UDB based Data Warehouse. This includes supervision of production operations including ETL operations, ETL Tools and Job Scheduling Tools and DBMS operations. Responsible for enforcement of the SDLC, maintenance, access, security administration and related activities. Supervises the operations of ETL tools with multiple RDBMS environments on multiple platforms.

Skills/Experience:

·         MUST have 5+ years of experience supporting & supervising a DB2 UDB based Data Warehouse environment

·         Manage issue resolution.

·         Supervise the support for SDLC, ETL operations, data extracts, issue resolutions and code fixes into the CCTI (Care Coordination Technical Infrastructure) environment.

·         Support release management.

·         Schedule resources, identifies priorities, coordinate interactions with customers and users.

·         Act as liaison between production stake holders and non-production stakeholders.

·         Ensure resources are assigned and available for 24x7 support.

·         Develop documentation, procedures and standards for effective production operations.

·         Communicate and collaborate effectively with staff of varying technical expertise.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills.

·         Experience supporting 24x7 environments.

·         Support Care Coordination Technical Infrastructure

·         Conducts analysis to facilitate improvements in operations and system configurations

·         Support production teams, development teams and customers on environment-related tasks

·         Excellent communications and inter-personnel skills.
