JD:
DBA with Oracle database upgrade from 9i to 11g version and can perform the followingStudy existing instance strategy and provide optimal instance planning and support during preupgrade, upgrade, postupgrade stages. This is applicable to oracle 9i and 11g instances.Understand the existing 9i database architecture and documentation.Understand the existing 9i instance management and release management processes.Provide Instance management for oracle 11G Database.Track and establish patch management process for Oracle 11G upgrades.Highlight risk and mitigations.Coordinate and plan instance strategy between different teams and stake holders.Provide suggestions to reduce the downtime.Coordinate with release management team, improvise and establish processes of release management for existing oracle 9i instances.Track Oracle SRs and assist teams to achieve resolutions.
