You will play a key role in matching our exceptional real-time bidding engine with an equally powerful and elegant UI that emphasizes ease-of-use, simplicity, clarity, and performance.
Our client is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of real-time advertising. We develop sophisticated real-time decision systems that bid in electronic marketplaces on behalf of advertisers for billions of advertising opportunities per day. These systems require equally sophisticated user interfaces to manage them and visualize the reams of data we collect about business metrics and user behavior. Our client is now embarking upon an effort to integrate its best-of-breed back-end system with a next-generation front-end UI.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in web applications development (HTTP, AJAX, REST, JSON)
- BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science
- Mastery of Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
Nice-To-Haves
- Knowledge of unit- and integration-testing, sandboxing, and build pipeline
- Experience with pure HTML and CSS, as well as server-side rendering engines
- Experience with Node.js
- Experience designing and manipulating SQL databases
- Experience building user interfaces that support analytics and interactive data visualization
