Description:		Position:Sr. System Analyst Location: Reston, VA Longevity: Contract 6 months + Travel: None Openings: 2 Start: ASAP - CRITICAL Seeking a Sr. System Analyst with a minimum of 4-8+ years of relevant experience to support our ongoing application systems analysis and programming activities, and to be responsible for supporting feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and for the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs. In addition, you may be responsible for the overall direction of the organization's design, maintenance and application activities to meet specific business needs of user areas. As a System Analyst, you will be working with a team of system analysts, project managers, and/or other technical resources charged with developing technical requirements and documenting them for application development project(s). You will also be working with the business unit or other subject matter experts to identify or refine technical requirements for applications under development or that are in the process of being revised. In addition, you will be providing technical guidance and direction to colleagues/clients in area(s) of expertise, and for developing solutions and resolving complex issues, as necessary. Required Skills: - A minimum of 4-8+ years of relevant experience in a similar role - Experience with Tibco, Oracle, and Web Services. - Good communication skills (oral and written) - In-depth knowledge of PC usage and related software packages - In-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages - Strong understanding of databases - Working knowledge of ReqPro or other equivalent requirement gathering tools. - Knowledge of Agile methodology a plus - In-depth understanding of the SDLC, and strong analytical skills - Industry knowledge a plus
