Job Description:-
Manage large/medium size projects as team member or lead to implement new functionalities and enhance existing functionalities including articulating, analyzing requirements and translating them into effective solutions
Responsible for the configuration and daily support of the SAP PP and MM modules that are already implemented at client
Wok with stakeholders and business user to define the requirement and then explain the system solution
Work with Technical ABAP team in explaining the requirement and co-ordinate with them to get development moving
Prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing scripts
Create Training documentation and impart training to end users
Provide status of the assigned tasks to Project Manager and other team members
Key contact with the business users in different time zones to collaboratively work on the requirements to develop additional MM, and PP functionalities
Mentor/support users and teammates on MM and PP functionalities including material masters, procurement, inventory control, deliveries, shipping, warehouse management, production order related master data, activities related to discrete production order management.
Work with cross functional teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs
Work with the onsite-offshore resources in different time zones to prioritize, coordinate and execute daily production support and guide them in implementing small to medium size projects
Ability to architect solutions in the PP/MM functional areas by seamlessly integrating with SD, QM, FICO, APO and BW functional areas
Ability to multi task in a fast paced dynamic environment
Required Skills/Qualifications:-
BA/BS degree
Minimum 3-4 years of SAP R/3 (4.6 C to ECC 6.0) experience focused on the PP & MM modules in SAP. Experience in WM module is an added advantage.
Strong PP and MM configuration and technical skills
Integration experience with 3rd party applications and SAP portals
EDI/ALE/IDoc, Workflow and Web Dynpro usage experience
Change Control and Release Management Experience
Daily Global Production Support Experience
Practical SCM functional/business knowledge and experience
SAP R/3 implementation experience with complex global logistics covering contract manufacturing, goods movements among third party distribution centers, reverse logistics, quality management
B2B/XI integration with suppliers/vendors, companies, plants and suppliers
SAP R/3 implementation experience in procure to pay functionality for both direct materials and services
SAP R/3 implementation experience with discrete production orders and all master data related activities associated with production orders
SAP ABAP Query knowledge
Strong proven project management experience and skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaborative work experience
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Action oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
User management and training experience
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:-
MBA/MS degree
Semiconductor industry experience, including the "fabless" business model
Experience with subcontracting manufacturing processes
Experience with Serus BOM Maintenance application
Experience in SAP BW/BI system
System knowledge on Planning activities including APO
