Here is the description:
Lead the design, development and implementation of complex data management and reporting solutions, with integrated UI and workflow components.
Provide thought leadership in the assessment of existing systems, especially legacy data sources. Ensure adherence to architectural standards and practices. Promote design of re-usable components and services. Define and validate technical and business requirements to ensure feasibility and completeness of the technical solutions.
Ability to code data integration and reporting components based on your own technical designs or those prepared by others. Transfer knowledge to others through teaching, mentoring or sharing of ideas on a day to day basis.
Work collaboratively with small teams. "Wear many hats" including technical design, SQL development, report development, testing.
Primary Technical / Business Skills:
Must have 10+ years of development, design, architecture experience in the following areas
• Demonstrated experience designing data architectures for system integration projects dealing with sourcing data from disparate systems, building data marts for reporting and analytics, and integrated reporting functions
• Hands on experience with technical design, coding and delivering enterprise class data management systems in Ab Inito
• Demonstrated experience with design and construction of data interfaces from transactional legacy systems into a dimensional data model.
