JOB DUTIES:
• Acting as the primary point of contact with the customer, you will participate in project-based Summix product implementations at the customer's location.
• Assist the customer in defining and analyzing requirements, translating requirements into functional specifications, testing and then implementing our solutions.
• Continually monitor & evaluate projects and provide ongoing project status reporting.
• Provide ongoing input to the assigned project manager regarding all project related items such as planning, progress, deliverables, risk & issues.
• Participate in status meetings and report on project progress.
• Work closely with end-users to provide training and to ensure the smooth handover of all implemented software modules.
• Play an advisory role with our customers applying knowledge and expertise gained through participation in multiple projects and exposure to both standard and customized solutions
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration, or Finance.
Experience:
• 5 – 7 years of experience in a client-facing consultant role.
• Experience working as a billable consultant in financial industry
• Experience working with banking systems a plus
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Understanding and experience working with software implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and optimize complex queries utilizing relational databases.
• Knowledge of SQL server and t-sql (transact SQL)
• Experience building interfaces using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service)
• Able to build reports/dashboards using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and Excel
• Ability to translate PL/SQL (Oracle SQL) procedures into MS SQL procedures
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and ability to clearly articulate solutions
• Fluency in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Server)
• Performance tuning
• Working knowledge of banking regulations
• IT Architecture
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• .NET frameworks (C#)
