Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) administrator for our client in Center City Philadelphia.  They will be working on a high-profile project establishing new backup and recovery systems for our client.  They will be working on the installation and configuration of TSM on both Windows and UNIX platforms, specifically on AIX.

Job Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience with TSM support and administration experience preferably on AIX platforms
• Experience with installation and configuration of TSM 5.x, 6.3 on Windows or UNIX platforms.
• Thorough understanding of backup and recovery technologies and practices

Preferred Experience:

• Working Knowledge on TDPs (Oracle, SQL etc.).
• Working Knowledge on Virtual machine backup and recovery.
• Working knowledge of Tape Libraries (storagetek, IBM)/Tape Drivers DLT/LTO/3590/9840.

• Experience in CommVault Simpana v9.5 , v10 on Windows platform

• Business Impact analysis experience as well as RPO/RTO analysis experience
