Web Content & Web Site Management – Onsite Business / Functional Coordinator – US Citizen only
Location: Harrisburg, PA
A functional lead responsible for understanding & managing businessrequirements in Web Content & Web Site management (web support experience).
Works closely with business– and leverages offshore technical resources to (a) facilitate "offshored" managed support services – 30% of time / effort (b) co-ordinate Agile development under a large Digital transformation program – 70% of time / effort

A global, marquee USD 13B+ high tech manufacturer that designs, makes & sells critical components used by customers in multiple end industries
Engagement Background
Client has embarked on a large, complex transformation of its legacy applications supporting its electronic commerce &eBusiness processes.
Currently, Zensar is responsible for support, maintenance and minor enhancements for Web Content Management legacy applications. In 3-4 months from now, Phase 1 of the transformation program will launch, resulting in a larger support footprint. Further, Zensar will participate in 'Agile development' from Phase 2 onwards.
An exciting opportunity to help Zensar take on a much bigger role in a large digital transformation program (that includes Hybris, Adobe CQ5, Endeca, etc)
Role Definition – Responsibilities
Across managed support & agile development:
· Know business stakeholders and processes in scope
· Understand business's current & future needs in website & content management
· Understand business, IT & Zensar SLAs
· Understand existing applications used in this area (awareness to facilitate offshore's success – Solution responsibility resides with offshore team)
· Be aware of planned future changes to technology landscape
· Proactive planning of resourcing levels – working with client IT and the offshore support manager
For support
· Facilitate information requirements of offshore technical team
· Informed contributor role for tickets being resolved by the offshore team – and provide updates to business
· Periodically, review resolved tickets to help improve quality of response
· Understand business user & process pain points– lead continuous improvement, and introduction of best practices
· Participate / lead weekly support reviews (client IT + offshore participates)
· Backlog management
Agile development (and even ongoing minor enhancements)
· Gather business requirements
· Communicate / clarify requirements to offshore technical team
· Active role in quality assurance (Separate offshore QA team exists – but our developers need inputs / reviews / guidance)
· Monitoring& reporting progress (SLAs apply to development also, such as tolerance within agreed estimates, quality levels, etc)
