As a Senior Manager, Application Developer, you will work within the Consumer Technology group to build and deploy innovative and impactful customer communication platforms that help to build loyalty and drive engagement for multiple product titles.
What you'll do
· Contribute to the design and development of sophisticated, high-volume rules engine
· Integrate with Restful web services across multiple systems within the organization
· Use everything you know (and maybe some things you don't)about Python and server-based architectures
· Work with lots and lots of data
· Be creative and collaborative
· Join a small team of smart, passionate, generous people who are committed to project success
What you'll bring
· 7+ years experience building performance-focused data applications in a networked environment
· 3+ years experience working with large NoSQL database systems (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.)
· Expert capability in server-based Python application development
· Senior-level capability in SOA and Web Service integrations
· Senior-level capability in horizontally scaling application architectures
What you have
· Senior-level experience delivering high-profile application development projects with demonstrated business impact
· Experience with all facets of the SDLC and Agile methodologies
· Experience with Linux/Python DevOps
· Experience with languages other than Python
· Experience using source-code repositories and continuous integration tools (git and Jenkins)
· Experience in agency setting or project-based development cycles
· Strong written communication skills
· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
