Job Title                                :  UAT Coordinator/Tester

Location                                :  Providence, RI

Duration                               :  Long Term

 

Role:

A large public sector infrastructure project is seeking a User Acceptance Test (UAT) Coordinator to join its onshore team.  This role is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter looking to grow his or her skillset while making a tangible contribution to continuous improvement of UAT processes, procedures and tools on an important program with an international footprint.

 

Required Skills:

-5 years of experience working in a software development / software test environment.

-Experience coordinating a system testing and UAT effort in a large scale IT project setting.

-Superior verbal and written communication skills.

-Ability to interpret and document detailed technical information.

-Ability to maintain effective working relationships with the client's UAT and IV&V vendors.

-Experience with defect management/reporting tools and processes.

-Experience with test planning, development and management tools and processes.

              

Preferred Skills:

-Powershell Scripting

-SQL query development and execution

-SOAP UI

 

Responsibilities/Expected Deliverables:

Responsibilities:

-Provide logistical and technical support for the client's external UAT and IV&V vendors during UAT planning and execution.

-Develop and prepare daily UAT flash report for internal program leadership.

-Participate in and help prepare for SIT Exit / UAT Entry meeting

-Coordinate preparation of and participation in UAT Exit meeting.

-Participate in UAT 'Lessons Learned' meetings and weekly collaborative sessions with the client's IV&V and UAT vendors.

-Participate in and support SIT planning, development and execution

 

Technical Environment

Websphere 8.5, Oracle 11g, Linux 6.3, Perceptive Image Now, HP Exstream, Tibco Netrics
