Our Government client is seeking an accomplished SharePoint Consultant for a 12 Month (extendable) contract in Raleigh, NC.
Position will support the client's 3C and Data Services Framework project. The candidate will work under the direction of the WS SP architect.
This position is "hands on" – candidate must have a strong development background, and demonstrate experience with the following.
• Deployment of SP 2013, SP 2010 farms
• Performance tuning SP 2010/13, SP integration with multiple platforms, and SP disaster recovery planning
• integrating SP 2013 claims based authorizations with 3rd party identity providers
• Content migration and definition of a content deployment plans
• Create documentation to provide knowledge transfer to other team members
• Maintain SP & Fast Search farms: monitor daily, troubleshoot & performance analysis
• Participate in configuration & maintenance of libraries, lists, site collections & search optimization
• Perform typical system administrative activities (site creation & infrastructure issue resolution)
• Assist developers/designers to prototype/implement best practices within SP
• Participate in establishing controls, standards & procedures for SP environment
• Coordinate with developers & designers to standardize, optimize data/information storage & retrieval
• Work with Enterprise Architecture group to help implement client's information architecture
• Act as gatekeeper of production environments; code review/approve solution deployments; implement, monitor production changes;
• Establish & administer process for monitoring developer access to production environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Required skills and abilities:
• Minimum 5 years designing and implementing SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 architectures working with lead architects and existing team members to implement a multi-platform environment
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the administration of SharePoint (SP) Server 2007/2010/2013, IIS 6, 7 & 8, ASP.NET applications
• Experience administering SP environment configuration, site collection creation, sub-site and page configuration
• Experience administering Fast Search for SP 2010 server Farms
• Experience creating InfoPath forms, implementing custom work flows, and custom web parts
• Experience working with and developing Business Data Connectivity (BDC)
• Experience consuming, or creating standard web services from the web platform or SP platform
• Experience implementing & administering Microsoft Team Foundation Server
• Proficient in Visual Studio 2010/2012/2013
• Proficient with .NET C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell
• Knowledge and practical experience of applications development in a distributed database environment
• Familiarity with VMWare virtualization technology
• Familiarity with NetApp storage solutions
• Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communications
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with SQL Server 2008/12 administration & TSQL language
• Experience with DNS, Active Directory
• Experience with customizing the SharePoint settings that define the look and feel of SharePoint sites
• Knowledge of XML and XSLT
• Knowledge of information architecture
• Experience working with developers integrating web applications into SharePoint
