Position: Windows Server Admin
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: $45-50/hr C2C
Remote support for the servers.
Provide incident support for the hardware related events that occurs on physical servers and resolves them remotely as much as possible and escalates to site services teams as necessary.
Responsible for end-to-end incident management scope.
Handle proactive and reactive tickets to restore the server/services.
Work with third party support teams for handling hardware issues.
Console Monitoring
Escalation Management, Knowledge Management, User & stakeholder management, Problem Management
Participate in Major Incident calls and help drive resolution
Extended Third Party Interaction as required
Participation in Projects / Initiatives
Extended user communication needs
Necessary skills
Windows Server 2012 / 2012R2 / 2008
Troubleshooting core OS issues
Failover clustering
DNS/DHCP scopes
Virtualization with Hyper-V
Active Directory
Understanding of basic networking and storage
MCSA/MCSE – 2012
