Senior Windows System Admin (skype hire)

Duration: 6 months – all onsite

Location: Ave Altoona, PA  (it's a college town Autumn said). 

Rate: $60/hr. 

 

 

Senior windows system admin.\ must have at least 10 years of experience.

Version of windows is 2008r2

Wants a candidate that knows how to handle windows policies, security, all of it.. must have powershell, vbs, perl, . should be familiar with python and java. . it could go longer if it becomes a huge benefit

 

Senior level Windows Administrator to assist our Store Domain as well as various other Windows related tasks.  The candidate will report to our Corporate Windows Administrator and work closely with several others in our Stores Systems department.   We are looking for an "expert" who can review our environment and make "experienced" based recommendations for improving our Windows environment at store level.  Depending on the rate we are looking to have someone onsite for at least 6 months.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide any "real-world" experience knowledge with configuring, tuning, and improving our Windows Domain and related items.

We will be reconfiguring our Store Domain Active Directory.  We would like this person to analyze our current environment and make recommendations on the new configuration.

Review all policies and scripts.

Create any scripts or procedures to improve day to day tasks.

Review patching procedures.

Review imaging procedures.

Verify Microsoft Licensing.

Work with our Security department to verify our Windows Domain environment and procedures.

Review Corporate Windows Domain environment and make any recommendations for improvements.

 

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Administration

Windows Patching

Windows Imaging

Scripting - experience with Perl, VBS, Python, and Java

Project Management

Familiar with Endpoint Management Tools such as Dell's KACE product.

Security (PCI Compliance)

LDAP
