The EISO RSA Archer Developer (Developer) reports to the Enterprise Information Security Office (EISO) - Enterprise Risk Manager and is responsible for the customization and development of e-GRC application system designs, programs, and codes software in response to specific business requirements. The Developer must understand how to optimize multiple development efforts through appropriate project design, database use, code creation, and software architecture Develops design specifications in compliance with IT Architecture Resolves user issues and suggestions. Duties include:
• Responsible for engaging with business on defining requirements and changes to new and existing solutions, documenting requirements and designs, providing estimates to complete implementation work, and validating implementations.
• End to end configuration of new and existing Archer applications, managing every aspect of the SDLC when necessary.
• Various data management and transformation tasks involving SQL, XML/XSLT, and text using tools like XML Spy, SQL Studio, Microsoft Access & Excel.
• Resolving issues for both end users and platform related.
• Creation of thorough solution documentation to facilitate personnel changes and the ongoing maintenance of the solution.
• Assist with maintenance activities, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and maintaining content through regular vendor releases.
Additional Responsibilities
• Develop application designs and assist the team with major projects.
• Ability to architect, design, configure and implement custom On-Demand Applications in Archer.
• Hands on configuration and customization of recent RSA Archer platform(5.x)
• Extensive experience with the calc fields and Data Driven Events.
• Extensive experience with data feeds configuration.
• Custom JavaScript experience and/or XSLT knowledge is a plus.
• Develop and support Archer configuration changes as needed
• Problem solving, coding and scripting, workflow design utilizing the Archer SmartSuite Framework software.
• Experience with the Archer 5.X platform and possess an understanding of the new configuration features and back-end processes is desirable
• Develop Archer applications based on technical requirements using standard designs.
• Configuration of the RSA Archer platform including: layout, workflow, reporting, notifications, questionnaires, access control, packaging, etc.
• Continuous process improvement for automation of the administrative functions and system migration/promotion to increase efficiency.
• Develop and implement monitoring best practices to ensure system stability and problem notification.
• Develop and adhere to source control standards.
• Participate in infrastructure development, platform enhancements and software upgrades with other EMC technical teams.
• Develop disaster recovery testing plans and execution for mission critical Archer applications.
Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 7 years IT work experience developing, testing and supporting critical enterprise applications.
• 7 + years of SQL, JavaScript, HTML, LDAP, Windows Technologies.
• 3-6 years Business Analysis experience supporting transformational enterprise programs.
• 3-6 years RSA Archer GRC experience or relevant GRC experience required.
• Experience in Archer 5.X platforms and its data constructs.
• Experienced in creating fields, reports, iView's and dashboards in Archer.
• Experience in configuring access control, record permissions, events and notifications in Archer.
• Experience in Data migration planning and content mapping in Archer.
• Should have proven experience in: project & program related communication & tasks, managing multiple projects & tasks at once, being productive while balancing a task list that can vary from highly interactive to very little interaction.
• Experience in creating UAT and SIT test scripts and creating development and test plans.
• Strategic experience with a moderately technical background.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices to effectively liaise with colleagues in and outside of the Risk Management Division.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in developing improvements/changes to systems and processes in order to improve customer satisfaction.
