$50/hr on C2C
Environment: .Net 4.0, C#, Smart/Client/WinForms, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC 3.0+), XML, Web Services, Entity Framework, WPF ,WCF, LINQ, multi-threaded programming, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery, and HTML 5.0, Visual Studio 2008, Team Foundation Server, SQL Server 2008, Silverlight
Overview: Our Client develops cutting-edge software solutions that are helping to revolutionize the Healthcare Informatics industry. This position requires strong leadership talents plus an instinctive, problem-solving mentality and experience conceptualizing and creating out-of-the-box solutions. Working in an Agile environment, they are engaged in construction of new solutions and continuous optimization of current products. They promote an upbeat and effective team environment within the fast-growing IT Healthcare Informatics industry.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Responsible for software development implementations, taking high-level requirements and producing robust solutions, within predefined timelines, scope limitations, and in accordance with Agile SDLC methodology
· Responsible for research, planning, estimating, designing, and ensuring customizations and integration components that are designed to meet the business needs
· Interface with the business operations and product teams for technical specifications and Participate in customer support processes
· Responsible for research, planning, estimation, design, while ensuring that customizations and integration components are meeting the business needs
· Design and code all aspects of solutions based on the Microsoft .NET platform using best practices and common patterns, including database, component layers, user interfaces and web services
· Provide training on coding standards and best practices to team members; and
· Produce quality, tested, and documented code
· Act as a mentor to team members and aid in adherence to established coding techniques and standards
· Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Operating Policies and Procedures
Required:
· MS degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) field. Alternatively, will accept BS degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience in IT
· Experience developing data driven applications using C#, Smart/Client/WinForms, ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC 3.0+), XML, Web Services, Entity Framework, WPF ,WCF, LINQ, multi-threaded programming
· Experience developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery, and HTML 5.0
· .NET 4.0 experience required
· 3+ years' experience developing in Visual Studio 2008 or later and Team Foundation Server
· Experience with the relational database model; SQL Server 2008; and stored procedure development
· Minimum of 2 years' experience in active adherence to SDLC methodologies such as Agile or Incremental
· Proven understanding of OOAD, design patterns, and application development processes and practices with focus on reusability, extensibility, and performance
· Solid understanding of software development environments, source control techniques, and continuous integration
· Experience as a mentor to junior/mid-level colleague(s)
Desired:
· Working knowledge of Scrum is a plus
· Experience with 3rd party controls a plus (Telerik, etc.)
· Experience working with very large databases is a plus
· Silverlight experience a plus
