Position: Incident Coordinator
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: 6+ months
· Manages performance of the ISRM process within their immediate sphere of control
· Assist with detection of possible Problems and the assignment of them to the Problem Management team for them to raise problem records.
· Evaluates scope of major incidents and knows how to engage next level of management
· Queue Management - Tracks open Incident and service request records.
· Reviews open Incidents for status.
· Reviews incident priority and determines if the priority needs to be adjusted (per aging).
· Ensures that analysts within their immediate sphere of control are correctly prioritizing their work.
· If cross group coordination is required, coordinates Incident resolution and service request completion with various workgroups.
· Ensures effective tactical coordination of activities during an incident to restore service. Manage and coordinate all activities necessary to respond to, record and resolve Incidents. Should understand the status of each service request /Incident in their queue, and ensure that service levels are being maintained, and take action to get a service request / Incident back on track as necessary.
