Software Quality Analyst
We are seeking a QA Analyst to join the Quality Assurance department of the Quality Service Organization. The selected candidate will support solution delivery activities specifically related to testing. These candidates will be supporting multiple projects under the umbrella of a Program that are being executed in an agile like methodology. He/She will support Project teams in reviewing user stories, attending design sessions, developing Test Plans and Test Cases and supporting test cases execution and validation activities. The candidate must have an understanding of System Development Life Cycle (Agile/Waterfall) and supporting test methodologies.

Day to Day Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support solution delivery activities related to testing including: Developing the Test Plan, Managing Test Execution Activities, Reporting on Test Metrics and supporting Test Closure activities.
• Self-starter able to work independently and easily collaborate with the Agile team.
• May require some level of coordination across the projects within the Program.
• Ability to manage workload with a minimum supervision
• Ensures team adherence to Quality Assurance policies, procedures and processes.
• Monitors team performance, spotting trends and identifying anomalies for escalation.
• Participates as a key contributor in regards to test and quality aspects of the project.
• Addresses and resolves complex problems that are escalated from team members.
• Coordinates and engages the appropriate level of expertise on issues related to testing.

Additional qualifications are:
• Minimum of 7 years of software quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in an Analyst role.
• Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, agile, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance methodologies processes and automated tools.
• Knowledge of test tools: Application Life Cycle Management (Quality Center) or similar tool is a must. Knowledge of Xplanner or similar tool.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria.
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.
• Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
• Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
• Must have experience in managing and working with on-site and distributed team members.
• Knowledge of internet and e-business processes, disciplines and standards.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
