Position: Technical Business Analyst with .NET
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: through 12/19/2014
Max Rate: $ 47/hr C2C – this is the max, not one penny more.
Project Description:
The Cox Service Call Reduction project is an effort by Accenture to reduce unnecessary or redundant technician visits to the homes of its cable customers. We are doing this through a combination of process change and technology. The technology piece will introduce an automated business workflow engine to check the work orders logged by call center reps against a set of common scenarios where the work order is either invalid, attributable to a larger systemic outage, or duplicates a known issue. Future data analysis will feed a rolling schedule of enhancements for future work. We are also developing a web-based UI to allow business users to manually review and resolve indeterminate work order cases and administer specific elements of the business workflow.
The principle technologies used will be WF, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server.
Role Description:
The technical business analyst will be primarily responsible for the UI portion of the application, which is still poorly defined. This person will work independently to gather and document business requirements, prepare technical requirements and wireframes, prepare test scripts for QA execution, and oversee test execution and defect validation for this functional area. Following our first release in October the BA will assist with workflow and integration requirements for subsequent releases through December. Additionally the BA will assist the Accenture process BA lead and her team of two with translating functional requirements and process flows into technical requirements for the Avanade development team. The BA will report to the Accenture BA lead and assist her efforts
Skills Required:
Requirements assessment, functional design, test prep, and test execution for a web-based UI and automated business workflow.
