Job Title: Senior Database Designer/Architect

Duration: 5+ months

Location: Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA, US

 

Qualifications:

 
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a Senior DBA/DB Designer/DB Architect .    
The experienced Database Designer/Architect will be proficient with the MS BI stack tools. This individual will perform reporting requirements, create models, cubes and translate logical structures into physical databases and/or data warehouse. Ability to design reports and dashboards is necessary. DB administration skills are a plus.
 
Required skills
• Extensive experience in DB design and modelling
• Experience with MS BI tools
• Data warehouse design experience
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with DAX, MDX, T-SQL and PLSQL
 
Basic Qualification
• Seven years' experience in DB design and modelling
• Experience with MS BI tools 
• Data warehouse design experience
