AWS Operations L3

Location: Niskayuna, NY

Duration - 6 + Months

Responsibilities:

Work on day-to-day AWS operations:

Server Provisioning, Troubleshooting, etc.

Documentation of standards and procedures

Respond to incident, problem and change tickets

Maintain and enhance AWS scripts, tools, and methodologies

Systems Administration with Windows and Linux servers

Work with Chef development team on automation projects

Qualifications:

2+ years' experience using AWS (Amazon Web Services)

EC2, S3, Elastic IPs, EBS, Security Groups, RDS

4+ years hands on experience with Windows and Linux

2+ years with scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Ruby or Python

Strong experience with Apache server configuration

Strong experience with Tomcat Application server
