Job Description:
The Data Analyst position will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of SAP Enterprise Information Management systems on concurrent projects.
Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of Data modeling techniques, design and build an enterprise data warehouse, data marts & data models.
Experience in ETL process using Business Objects Data Services
Design the overall enterprise data architecture, data governance and data quality strategies
Define policies and process for Master Data maintenance and Data dictionary
Work with Data Stewards & Business Analysts to facilitate the implementation of data governance policies and procedures
Expertise in scalability, performance, security & integration requirements for an enterprise business intelligence platform.
Expertise in understanding and designing ETL process.
Ability to work with a variety of teams and clients, mentoring junior resources, and effectively handling multiple tasks/deadlines with success
Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially when communicating with business users.
Strong leadership skills, motivation to keep abreast of emerging technologies and pick up new skillsets quickly
Ability to travel a must. Travel will be from 50-75% from central office location
Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex data platform architectures for various financial reporting projects
Strong experience in data modeling (Normalization, Star Schema, "The Vault")
Strong experience in data architecture (Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Datamodels)
Understanding of traditional RDBMS systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
Strong experience designing relational and multi-dimensional models
Strong experience with data warehousing technologies and ETL tools
Experience/Exposure to Business Objects or equivalent BI tools a plus
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of overall IT experience
3+ years experience in implementing enterprise data warehouses, data marts, datamodels etc.
3+ years experience in overseeing ETL projects
3+ years of experience in SAP BO BI product suite
3-5 years of experience in RDBMS databases like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata etc.
3+ years of end to end implementation of Enterprise data warehouse, reporting solutions etc.
