Job Details

The clients Checkout team is looking for a talented, collaborative Software Engineer in Test to write code that evaluates features used by tens of millions of users per year. You will have the opportunity to work on the checkout path that offers customers the widest range of payment options available online to buy travel. Our team is building a cutting edge automation suite to support the rapid pace of feature development. We are looking for someone to drive improvements to our testing strategy for UI automation and unit testing in the JavaScript and Java layers. If you like development and will enjoy finding flaws in the most critical part of our product, we want to talk to you!

 

Responsibilities:

• Build out robust test coverage for the client’s checkout path

• Create tests for new UI and features in an Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) environment

• Design automation strategies that test code at the most appropriate layer (JavaScript, UI or Java)

• Bring down running time for our automation jobs so that breaks are caught less than an hour after check-in

• Create Automation Metrics used to track our quality as well as to identify areas for improvement in either the code or automation • Research technologies and processes to drive improvements across the group
