Title: VOD/ Video lab Engineer

Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: 6 Months Contract To Hire  

 

 

 

Job Description:

 

-              Looking for candidates with Video/Cable expertise.

-              Experience in VOD

-              Experience in configuring Video requirement.

-              Hands-on "Working of Devices".

-              Motorola DAC expertise will be really good.

-              Broad understanding of IP networking fundamentals

-              Broad knowledge of Unix, Linux, Sun Solaris and Windows operating systems

-              Broad knowledge of digital video service offerings (VOD, iTV, HDTV, DVR)

-              Broad knowledge of digital headend equipment (encoders, multiplexors, QAMs)

-              Broad knowledge of Digital Video and RF signal analyzers and other test equipment

-              Broad knowledge of digital video troubleshooting and problem resolution.

-              Broad knowledge of Hybrid Fiber Coax and Video Transport Architectures, including SDV and Simulcast
