Requirements Details:

Job Title:          Data Analyst 
Location:          Midtown, NY
Job Type:         Contract
Duration:          Long Term

What you'll do:

• You'll work with the data engineering team to help us integrate all of our data stores and help mine the data sets we have.
• You'll help to automate our existing processes and build out new infrastructure for the future.
• You'll also help manage our current NoSQL infrastructure.

What we're looking for:

• A highly skilled individual with a successful history of data analysis and visualization, systems integration work, and both development and operational experience with NoSQL/RDBMS systems.

Required Skills:

• Data analysis and visualization of heterogeneous datasets ( MapR, Hadoop, Pandas, Numpy, etc.. )
• NoSQL experience ( Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB )
• RDBMS experience ( MySQL, PostgreSQL )
• Heavy scripting/development experience with Python/BASH
• Proven track record in automation and integration of disparate systems

Preferred Skills:

• Git for version control
• Experience working in DevOps environments
• Amazon Web Services, Google Compute experience
• Experience with Agile methodology
