Job Title : WebSphere MQ Admin
Location : Hoffman Estates, IL
Duration : 6+ months contract

 

Job Requirements:
4+ years of enterprise level MQ administration experience
Installation, upgrades and configuration experience
Designing of complex MQ applications
Capacity planning and performance tuning
MQ clustering
Trouble shooting within complex MQ environments
MQ Monitor
Working knowledge of MQ APIs and JMS. Ability to work with application areas developing/troubleshooting MQ processes
Working knowledge of Message Driven Beans
Unix scripting
On call support

 

Desired Skills:
• WebSphere MQ Message Broker experience
• WebSphere MQ security
• C and/or Java application development skills (Java preferred)
• Working knowledge of pub/sub model
• Solid communication skills

 

Education:
Information Technologies
Bachelor degree preferred
