Ø We are looking for an experienced J2EE web developer to assist us with the maintenance, development, and implementation of web site and backend systems. Ø The candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including J2EE web application development, Java client/server development, and Database Development
RESPONSIBILITIES/SPECIAL SKILLS:
Ø 3-5 years in Internet related system development for a public-facing internet web site. (Candidate must have prior experience with public-facing/internet web site development) Ø Experienced Java Developer with knowledge in web framework based development and internet technologies
Ideal candidate will have hands on experience in the following: Ø public-facing web application development using JAVA and open source technologies, tools and APIs: Spring, Struts, iBatis, JQuery, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML, ANT, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Ø These are the minimum requirements; additional web technologies experience is always a plus. Ø Strong knowledge of SQL/PL-SQL and Oracle database development (packages, stored procedures, triggers) strongly preferred. Ø Knowledge of developing and deploying search engine system including search engine optimization, search ranking model, advanced search functions (ex: predictive, visual search), configuration and customization of commercial Search Solution (Microsoft FAST experience preferred) is a plus. Ø Strong knowledge of concepts and technology such as Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS3, and mobile web site development is a major plus Ø Experience with web applications development in Eclipse environment Ø Experience with applications servers: Web logic Ø Experience with Oracle database, multiple O/S's: UNIX platforms Ø Goal oriented and self-motivated Ø Candidate must have the ability to work independently or within a team environment Ø Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to create software design and engineering documents Ø Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work under tight deadlines is essential Ø Ability to work in a fast paced environment is crucial Ø Ability to learn, excel and deliver at a quick pace is required Ø BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field |
