Top skills needed 1) IBM Webshere Base (version 7.x) administration including installation, SSL/X509 Certificate management, MQ Series and J2C configurations 2) Shell Scripting experience (with examples) ….. (Python, Jython, ksh, bsh) 3) JEE Application Development experience 4) A HUGE PLUS: BMC Bladelogic Experience (specifically the Blade Logic Command Line Interface)
Top Soft Skills Needed 1) Great communication skills – both verbally and written 2) Great documentation skills – ability to create detailed documentation of scripts/systems 3) Ability to work in a collaborative team setting as well as independently as assignments dictate Experience with IBM Websphere Base and experience installing Websphere Base 7.X and higher (using both silent and GUI) as well as application deployment support for setting up database connections and messaging queues.

Responsibilities: |
The Web Infrastructure team provides engineering support for Client's enterprise web hosting infrastructure. Responsibilities include application integration, application performance tuning, and infrastructure design using industry best practices and future technology trends for JBoss, Websphere Application Server (WAS), and Sun Java System Web Server (SJSWS). Specific responsibilities include WAS installation and administration, Shell scripting (KSH, BSH, Jython, Python) for increased automation opportunities, IBM Web server (IHS) administration and configuration, SSL and X509 certificate management, and problem determination. |
