Position: JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER 

Location: CUPERTINO, California

Duration: 3 to 6 Months plus

Rate: $35/hr

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

We are looking to upgrade our JavaScript library and we need your help. You will have the opportunity to work with a world-class engineering team and cutting-edge web technologies.

 

Your contributions will serve as the foundation to the Online Store pages, which are visited by millions of people around the globe.

 

Responsibilities:

Design JavaScript foundational classes, utilities and JSON APIs using MVC frameworks

 

Migrate existing features and UI components to the new code-base

 

Write test scripts, generate API documentation

 

Evangelize the new JS library, and provide training and guidance to other frontend developers

 

MUST HAVE experience with:

Building pixel-perfect user interface with jQuery

JavaScript MVC frameworks, such can.js, JavaScript MVC, backbone.js

JavaScript testing frameworks such as QUnit, Jasmine, buster.JS

 

Even better if you have experience with:

Front-end build environments, such as Maven

Deep understanding of MVC design patterns

Closure Compiler

Ruby and/or Java

Agile and waterfall methodologies

Working in a large cross-functional team

Working on high profile / high traffic sites
