JOB REQUIREMENT FOR HYPERION MIGRATION CONSULTAN

 Location: COSTA MESA, CA

Duration: 3+ Months

 

Project need is to deploy a UAT environment which will involve an upgrade from earlier version of Hyperion 11.1.1.3 & Microsoft Windows Server 2003r2.

 

Scope:

·         Deploy server with Windows Server 2k8r2

·         Deploy server with SQL Server 2k5r2

·         Deploy Hyperion 11.1.2.2, bring patch level current

·         Perform backups for 13 existing Hyperion databases

·         Restore above backups to new SQL Server system

·         Setup backup plans on new SQL Server

·         Perform backups of 13 databases on new SQL Server system

·         Create Hyperion database schema

·         Install Hyperion 11.1.2.2, patch to current

·         Confirm functionality

·         Migrate 2 Essbase applications and 2 Planning applications to new environment

·         Migrate existing Financial Reports to new environment

·         Setup, test and correct application connectivity

·         Document as-deployed environment

·         Conduct knowledge transfer session with client
