Sr. Business Analyst – PeopleSoft Core HR, Position Management and Recruiting The University Minnesota uses PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 to support many human resources business processes, and utilizes PS modules Core HR, Talent Acquisition Management, Benefits, Payroll for North America, Absence Management and Time and Labor. The University is launching an upgrade from PeopleTools 8.54 to 8.55, and will also continuing to address and implement solutions to improve their human resources processes and correct system defects. We are looking for an HCM Sr. Business Analyst specializing in PS Talent Acquisition Management / Position Management / Core HR. Responsibilities include: · Conducting regression test scripts for the PeopleTools upgrade · Utilizing HP's Quality Center to update test scripts, execute testing, and report defects · Collaborating with full team, business subject matter experts, and other project resources to determine and communicate impacts into other areas of HCM · Analyzing, designing and testing minor changes to the production system during the project · Providing responsive customer service to user community by monitoring service tickets reporting to call center, researching issues, and identifying system solutions that may be needed. Required skills: · A minimum of 6 years of BA experience in one of the following PeopleSoft modules Core HR, Position Management and Recruiting · Strong understanding of the relationships between HRMS modules, specifically those listed above · Experience in taking a project from inception to implementation · Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills · Ability to work with technical partners to communicate requirements and prepare functional designs · Experience in conducting system testing and leading UAT testing · Ability to communicate customer impacts and training needs of changes to business partners · Ability to extract data from system, via SQL or PS Query to conduct analysis or prep for testing · Knowledge of project management principles and how to apply them to execute a small to medium project · Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with both technical and non-technical people |
