Skills Require / Experience
• 100% hands-on datacenter management, Network, Telecom and VOIP
• 8+ years of experience in managing datacenters operations of a large and complex customer.
• Strong foundation in Virtualization software like VMware etc
• Experience in infrastructure capacity planning based on key attributes Flexible, continuous learner, excellent communicator, works well in team environment, appreciates challenge, comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving.
• Requires excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills.
• Proven track record as a team-builder and leader.
• Provide meaningful and timely reporting for weekly/monthly success metrics.
• Proven success and experience in recruiting, promoting, training, disciplinary actions, and other basic management functions.
• Ability to interact with internal business units and ensure the organizations' operational responsibilities is aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Provides leadership, direction, and performance management for all subordinates.
• Having good knowledge in Enterprise management systems i.e. Monitoring & Reporting Tools
Job Responsibilities
• Accountable for 24*7 support for overall Infra/ Datacenter (Network, Telecom and VOIP) Operations. Experience in managing
• Wide Area Network
• Local Area Network (DHCP, DNS, IP Address Management, QOS, VLANs)
• Remote Access (including VPN Services)
• Wireless Local Area Network
• Management Services - Network Management and Performance
• WAN Accelerators and Appliances, including Riverbed Technologies SteelHead and Steelfusion
• Voice Communication Network/Flex IP Tunnels
• Voice Messaging
• Video Conferencing
• Audio Conferencing
• Desk Phone
• Soft Phones
• Telecom billing and catalog
• Contact Center Services (IVR, ACD, MACD, Contact Center, and Reporting)
• Phone switch
• PBX systems including non-VoIP and non-Avaya
• Emergency communication system support including working with 3rd parties
• Manage application release management, Infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Hands-on experience in managing 24x7 global datacenter operations/DR Operations
• Implement Operational tools like deployment, provisioning, monitoring, performance measurement tools etc.
• Responsible for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure.
• Responsible for the customer facing production environment monitoring, performance, release/deployment, security, reliability, availability, capacity, latency, and other non-functional concerns.
• Lead Disaster Recovery initiative from an infrastructure perspective including documenting recovery procedures of all critical components.
• Implement Automation across all domains to reduce Manual efforts.
