Job Title: SQL Server DBA
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Houston, TX
Must Haves – Skills:
• Experience in Database Administration of Oracle 7, 8, 8i, 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c Pluggable databases on Operating systems HP-UX, IBM AIX, RHEL, Solaris and Windows.
• Experience in working with database sizes ranging from < 500GB to 11TB VLDBs.
• Exposure to OEM 10 and 12c to configure and monitor alerts, blackouts, install and administer agents.
• Experience in administering and maintaining Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Datagaurd and Streams Replication Environments.
• Experience in installing Oracle Homes, creating normal databases and 12c Container & Pluggable databases as per client standards.
• Experience in applying Quaterly Security patches manually and also automatically using BMC BladeLogic Database Automation Tool (BDA) after the approval from client.
• Experience in upgrading databases from Oracle 7 and above versions to latest Oracle 12c.
• Experience in using BDA to Prepare Patch Packages for Client's environment, test prepared packages in Lab Environment, perform upload, edit and export packages in the repository and push packages to Databases.
