Number of Openings 1 Duration of Hiring 6 months (timelines may change based on client needs and/or candidate performance) No of years' experience >5 yrs with all relevant experience Detailed job description - Skill Set: Job Title: SharePoint Administrator JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the SharePoint Administrator is the overall System Administration of DCS and Power Management SharePoint On-Premise and SharePoint Online Farms to ensure scalability, fault tolerance, and high-availability. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1) Manage and check the overall servers health and functionality 2) Audit and Manage SharePoint permissions 3) Configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Shared Service Applications including User Profile, Managed Meta Data, and Search Services 4) Moving/copying Site Collections, Sites, Content, etc. 5) Regular review of the events and messages reported in Logs 6) Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites. 7) Monitor and report trends (e.g. site usage and growth, disk space usage and growth) 8) Regularly audit SharePoint environment 9) Plan, schedule, and deploy OS, SQL Server and SharePoint patches and cumulative updates. 10) Manage services and scheduled jobs within the SharePoint environment 11) Perform site backups and restores at all level 12) Resolve outages, monitor production applications and support day-to-day operations of SharePoint. 13) Conducts research and development and evaluates tools that maybe utilized in current and future SharePoint applications. 14) Makes every effort to complete assigned projects on time as assigned by Supervisor. 15) Brings conflicting issues or concerns to the team supervisor immediately as discovered. 16) Works with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Human Resources, Services and other key departments within DCS and Power Management to gather and define requirements documentation necessary for SharePoint application development. Mandatory Skills MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 Administration, troubleshooting, and governance. (3-5 years) · Significant experience building SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 multi-tier farms including installing/upgrading and configuring the environment and service applications · Significant day-to-day experience managing and troubleshooting 2007/2010/2013 medium size Farms · MS SQL Server 2008R2 - 2016 (as required to manage SharePoint). SharePoint is completely supported by a Microsoft SQL Server database, the SharePoint Administrator is expected to be knowledgeable at the database level. · Proficient with FAST and SharePoint Search · Experience with 3rd Party tools (i.e., Nintex Forms and Workflow, Metalogix Content Matrix, Bamboo, Amrein, OpenText AGA for SharePoint). · Internet Information Server (IIS), Basic Networking, VMWare, Active Directory · Hands on experience with migration software (such as AvePoint or ShareGate). · Experience with the entire Office365 technology stack, specifically how the other products interact with SharePoint (i.e. integration with Outlook, Azure AD, etc.) · Strong written and verbal communication skills; Fluent in English. · Driven to succeed in a hectic development environment where there are multiple priorities. · Close attention to detail, follow-up, with an extreme sense of urgency and perseverance. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and provide timely and accurate follow up to inquiries. · Ability to perform all duties with the least amount of supervision. · Strong team effort mentality. · Ability to explain complex technical information clearly to business stakeholders. · Analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to present solutions/alternatives and influence the outcome of decisions. Good to Have Skills INTERACTIONS: Reports progress and resolves technical issues with supervisor as required. Collaborates with the Software Quality Assurance team for testing. Collaborates with business analysts to specify program requirements. Devotes majority of time developing SharePoint solutions. Consults with peers, Corporate ITSS, and outside consultants as required.
